Connect Steps is a wellbeing initiative run by Tanya and Teresa, designed to support both physical and emotional health through movement, mindfulness, and connection.
We believe that small steps can lead to meaningful change. Whether you're joining us for a walk, experiencing the calming power of sound, or simply looking for a supportive community, Connect Steps offers a welcoming space for everyone.

What We Offer
Nordic Walking & Community Sessions
Learn the art of Nordic walking and experience a gentle, effective way to improve your fitness and wellbeing.
Our guided sessions are welcoming, inclusive, and suitable for all abilities. You’ll gain confidence using Nordic poles while enjoying the benefits of nature and social connection.
Our regular community walks are relaxed and friendly, perfect for meeting others, improving your health, and taking time for yourself.
Seated Gong Baths (Every Sunday 17.45pm to 19.00pm)
Take time out to relax deeply with our seated gong bath sessions. The soothing vibrations of sound help calm the mind, release stress, and restore balance.
Even more meaningful, every session directly supports our Children's Counselling Service, helping us provide much-needed emotional care for young people.
Mindfulness Course (Coming 2027)
Our upcoming mindfulness course will offer simple, practical tools to help you slow down, manage stress, and feel more present in your daily life.
Designed to be accessible and supportive, this course is ideal whether you're new to mindfulness or looking to build on your existing practice.
Wellbeing Retreats (In Development)
We are developing immersive wellbeing retreats designed especially for those working in helping and caring roles.
These retreats will provide space to rest, reflect, and recharge through a blend of movement, mindfulness, and restorative practices.
Our Purpose
Connect Steps is rooted in compassion, connection, and community care. Everything we offer is designed to support wellbeing while also giving back.
Our events help fund our Children’s Counselling Service, ensuring young people have access to safe, supportive spaces when they need it most.
